THE STORYTELLER
Oh hi there! Thank you for visiting “Not So Ordinary.” My name is Melissa Blackwell. I grew up in the great state of North Carolina and now live in the other wonderful Carolina state. I am a former theatre major, nurse, and now stay-at-home-mommy to my sweet girl, Bethlehem. I am wife to Mark, a man who is fearless, faithful, and a fighter for the oppressed. (He runs a non-profit that helps individuals escape from trafficking and exploitation.) I am a blessed girl to be married to such an amazing man. And most importantly, I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I’m a sinner saved by His grace and no longer guilty for the punishment I deserved. I am a loved daughter of the Creator of the world, and because of that, every day is worth living to the fullest.
I am so excited to welcome you to this site. If you are a believer in Jesus, my hope is that through the stories shared here, you will be encouraged in your daily walk with Him in new and refreshing ways. If you are not a follower of Jesus, my prayer is that these stories will point you to the One who has came to save and satisfy you for His glory and His great love for you. I pray you come to know Him personally. Believe me, you will never be the same.
